Bandol Rose Terrebrune, Domaine 2017

For SOMM Night August we are very lucky to have our Sommelier Donaciano pouring a Bandol Rose Terrebrune, Domaine 2017, which is a Kermit Lynch imported wine from Provence. The grapes of these pesticide, herbicide and fertilizer-free vines are hand-harvested to purposefully limit yields. Using only indigenous yeasts, the wine ferments very slowly in underground temperature-controlled cuves. Highlights include a pale salmon color, delicate aromas of citrus, peony and spices with flavors including passionfruit and rose petals, and a minerally saline finish which results from the limestone soil of Bandol.
